So much fun!!

Asher is so much fun these days!! Just on the verge of walking...I can't wait until then. I know, I know...he's going to be all over the place BUT I know he will love being more mobile! I finally downloaded the photos from my actual camera (not my phone that I normally use) so I'm going to add a few extra pics from awhile back that I never got around to adding... I'll start with the most recent and then go back in time.

Asher got his first haircut today!! He did great. He got to sit in a police car and had a big screen TV in front of him to keep him distracted! They gave me his keepsake 1st haircut locks of hair. I'll be adding that to his baby book! :)

Tonight we went to dinner with Mike's mom & stepdad. This pic makes me laugh so hard and truly explains that Asher IS ALL OVER THE PLACE!! LOL! (he was grabbing the bowl of green beans at BABES, I can't blame him!!!)

Blase Family Farm Pumpkin Patch. We went with our neighbor friends today. SO much fun! Petting zoo, pumpkins, hay ride, free hot dogs, AND it was only like a mile away from our house on a 13 acre farm!

LOL! This cracks me up...Asher had fun at his first petting zoo. They gave us a cup to feed the animals but we gave his cup away to the other kiddos with us. Asher just petted them and stared at them funny. HA. :)

Weekend Recap!

Friday consisted of a trip to target and purchasing Asher's convertible car seat!!! I'm Soooo excited about this for some reason!! We haven't installed it yet but will this week!! Yipeeee!!
Saturday I walked the Susan G Komen with Laura & Timarie! We took the train down and stayed extra long to eat breakfast & go shopping at northpark. So fun!!! When I got home I took Asher to the park, he absolutely loves the swings!!! Asher is able to use a sippy cup now!!! He's getting so big!!
Sunday me and Asher went to church and to the galleria with my mom. Mike stayed home and enjoyed a quiet day watching football. Borrrrrring!! 
My mom bought Asher's outfit for our Christmas photos!! And he tried on lots of hats to keep warm when we go to Nebraska next week!!! He hated them all!! LOL! I can't keep anything on his head!! 
I also tried a glue on canvas pintrest project...fail!!! Hopefully I can tweak it a bit and be successful next time!!

There's an app for that!!!

I just found this Blogger app! Love it that I can now post from my phone!! Super convenient!! ( not quite sure how to place the pics in the right order...)

This past weekend we went to our friends parents house in Sherman. It was quite a drive away but SO much fun!! It was the 31st bday party for my friend and her hubby (mikes friend), they have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other. Anyway, his patents catered fajitas & all the yummy fixings, had tons of alcohol and a live band!!! They were awesome!! It was in the afternoon and the weather was perfect!!
Today was Asher's 9 month well visit. He weighs 22lbs and is 29 inches tall!! Definitely ordering his convertible car seat THIS weekend!!! Seriously, he's way too big to be toted around in his infant carrier! I mean he hasnt legally outgrown it yet but for my wimpy arms...it's time to make the switch!!
Ummm anybody else addicted to Pintrest?!? The.best.ever!!! I Can't wait to try lots of new projects, recipes, and ideas from there!! They are endless!!!

First Asher, then mommy & now daddy....

It NEVER ends. Our house is always sick now!! :( I know it's all of the icky germs that Ash brings home from daycare and I hate it!! We are really good about washing our hands, toys, paci's & using sanitizer but it seems like it always comes right back. Asher is just now getting back to normal again after being on breathing treatments again for another week. Then I got an icky cold and now Mike is currently sprawled on the couch watching Chopped Champions and looks & feels miserable. Poor babe!!! Anyhow...hopefully we can beat it once again! I've never been sick this much in my life!! I used to always used to never use my 'sick' days so my manager let me use them as vacation days at the end of the year...but I think that idea is sadly gone....

Other than being sick, we have been staying busy. Church, football, park, walks, family, friends...lots of stuff going on. I can't wait for the weather to get cool again!! We were teased for a few days a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow it's supposed to drop 15 degrees!! Down to 85...yipeee!!

I can't believe Asher is days away from being NINE months old!!! NUTS! He's getting so big. He weighs 22.1lbs according to his last doc appt. He's wearing 12mo & some 12-18mo clothes. We have to put gel in his hair to keep it down because it's so fine and wispy, he is climbing up on EVERYTHING and is crawling EVERYwhere!! His little knees are red when we get him from daycare each day because he loves to crawl around all day. He loves when we read him books and cracks up when he stands in front of the couch and bangs his hands on it like he's playing the drums. He's drinking 4 bottles; usually at 7:30a, 10:30a, 1:30p & 4:30p. He also eats oatmeal with his lunch bottle and then at dinner he'll have some kind of veggie/fruit combo or smoothie. We've recently introduced snacks too...usually it's 'puffs' that dissolve in his mouth, more or less. He still seems to gag on small foods so I'm nervous about any other foods. I've given him a few tastes of table food [baked potato, bread, etc.] here & there but I still get nervous. He now has FIVE teeth and more on the way. He's a teethin-machine!! His bedtime is usually around 7:30p and he gets at 7:15a...like clock-work. Mike gets him ready and takes him to daycare and I pick him up in the afternoon each day. Mike is SUCH an amazing daddy...a million times more awesome than I thought [and I had pretty HIGH expectations!! ;)] Asher is such a happy baby. We thank God for him everyday. Now on to my photo-dump.....
