Too much time has passed!!

Photo dump!!! Oh and I'm pregnant!!!! It's a GIRL!!! Can't wait to meet our sweet baby in October!! We recently moved into a new house too! Lots going on! We have lots of playing room for the kids and are in the process of making it feel like home!
The pictures are basically from the past 6 months. Asher is getting smarter by the day and is still as precious as ever! Mike & I went to Florida recently with some friends and had a amazing beach vacay!! My sister came to Dallas to visit with her youngest and we ha a blast. Other than that it seems like work, new house and new baby are our day to day life...

Soooo much fun!! Can't believe my baby is ONE!!! We all survived!!! Yipeeee! I can't believe how much he has grown & how much of a blog slacker I've been!!!! Apparently a one year old takes much more of my time!! Here are the bday pics (that I have on my phone). We had his birthday on January 7th (his bday was jan 5). We celebrated at my moms house with our local family with the addition of mines grandma, who was in town!! Yay! The party was a success. I meeean, my mom did most of it! Hehe! Lucky me!!

The past month has been busy busy! Lots of Christmas activities, family and fun to keep us busy!! I can't believe it's all over. Here's a recap of some the photos we took from my phone, at least....
Asher is still not quite walking yet. Almost...!!! He got his first 2 molars recently so he now has 10 teeth!! Crazy!! He tested positive for RSV just days before Christmas. His fever broke soon after the doctor visit but he still had an ugly cough! We are continuing the breathing treatments and hoping that will clear it up soon!! Poor baby!! I hate seeming him sick! Ugh!!
For NYE we went to our neighbors house for games and fun to bring in the new year. It was lots of fun fun!! And I won the game LRC so I went home with a wad of cash!! Yipeeee!!

11months!!!

Where has time gone?!? Seriously!?! Asher turned 11 months last week! I can't believe we will be celebrating his birthday in a few weeks!! Nuts!!!
He is SO much fun these days!! He has had 8 teeth for a few months now! I think is back ones are coming soon because he is constantly chewing in things in the back of his mouth. He can say mama & dada and babababa. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what he's really taking about but he'll mimic you of you say mama, he'll say it back, etc. This is what we do on the way to and from school. It's fun! :))
He has now mastered how to clap! He loves to clap and sits in his crib at night and claps in the dark. Haha! He is moving non stop and is ALL over the place. Holding onto the wall, couch, table, chairs...whatever he can get his hands on and use it as a guide to get him around in a flash! We were super nervous about putting up the Christmas tree but he hasn't had much of an interest in it much, at all! Whew!! It's even full of presents underneath and he hasnt touched them!!! I'm sure next year will be a-whole-nother story! Ha! Asher is going to bed great these days! We usually put him down around 730 and he sleeps till between 7a and 8a. On the days that he wakes 'early', I get to take him to school. I love it!!! My new job is pretty flexible and this is a HUGE perk that I was so excited about! Honestly it makes a big difference in my day. I'm not rushed in the morning AND i get more time with my baby!! Win-win!!
Daycare is going good! We got the word the other day from the director that Asher will be moving up to Room 3!! So exciting!! They provide all the food!! No more bottles (this is music to my ears!!)! It's more structured and only one nap!! It'll be. Big change but they are flexible with him until he adjusts. I think it'll be great!! (I cant WAIT to be done with bottles!!!') I feel like i clean them all.the.time!!!
We haven't been to the doc since his last well visit! Thankfully he hasn't been sick at all recently!! (knock on wood!! His next appointment is next month, at his 1 year well visit. He is growing so much! Most of his clothes are 18 months, but some are 12. The 18mo are usually too big in the waist but fit in length. Frustrating.
Asher is pretty much over most of his toys now. Im excited about his new ones for Christmas...he's going to have a MILLION from all his g-parents!! We'll have to make room!! He still loves to read books, he gets so excited when we pull one out!! He also LOVES bath time!!! Mike gives him a bath and I dry him up, lotion him and put his pj's on. We seem to have a good system at night. It works!!
He's terrified of dogs still. :/ Most of his grandparents have dogs so we test him out every time and try to get him used to it...he hates it! Lol!! He cries when they get too close, but hopefully he'll learn to love them!! :)
Sorry for the scatterbrained post...that's all i can think of now.

Our tree! We left the bottom portion empty of ornaments but, thankfully, Asher doesn't have any interest in the tree!!

Nap time!! He's hugging Big Bird!! So sweet! The yellow pillow was made for me when I was a baby. It has an E on front. Asher isn't too sure what a 'pillow' is but sometimes his head ends up on top of it! ha!

Burrrr, it's gotten chilly outside but it doesn't stop us from going to the park when the sun is out!! He LOVES to swing!!

We had our neighbors over (the have 2 boys 1 & 2 years old) and we decorated cookies!!!

We also made a Christmas tree canvas!! Thanks to Pintrest. Mike's prints are at the bottom, mine are in the middle and Asher's are on top. Super cute decor for the holiday season!!

Asher met SANTA!!!! We stopped by Bass Pro Shops last Sunday afternoon. Asher was pretty tired and hungry...so this is the outcome. He seemed confused about the jingle bells that the camera man was jingling. LOL. 1st Christmas!

Seeee, told you these are out of order....THIS is Asher's delicious Thanksgiving dinner!! Turkey, pistachio salad, cranberry, sweet AND mashed potatoes!!! YUMMM!!! Did I mention he had THREE thanksgiving dinners?!? Yep, gotta love the big families!!!

My awesome friend, Ters, hosted a craft party. I made Christmas tags for our pressies this year. This was one of the crafts that her & Haley made. Gingerbread ornaments!! Super easy...cinnamon & applesauce mixed together and use cookie cutters to make whatever shape you want. Let them dry for about a week and TA-DA...you have pretty ornaments!! I plan on decorating mine soon with puff paint!! Can't wait!! I'm loving the collection of Asher's '1st Christmas' memories!! I'll definitely be adding the year on the back!
